People
Asim Products was founded in 1976 by Late Dr. Kishor C. Mehta, Mr. Dilip D. Chitre and Mr, Kapil J. Mehta.

Late Dr. K. C. Mehta (Doctorate in Chemical Engineering) had profound knowledge and experience in the food colour industry for about 30 years. He was the member of Food Additive Sub-Committee appointed by the Government of India. He was Honorary President of Food Colour Association of India since 1998. Mr. Dilip D. Chitre, a science graduate has been associated with food colour manufacturing industry for more than 25 years. He looks after production planning, quality control and environment protection. Mr. Kapil J. Mehta is a commerce graduate who maintains company accounts, ensures workers' welfare and liases with local statutory government bodies. Mr. Ashit K. Mehta has done post-graduation in Export-Import Management. He manages the marketing and administration affairs.

Plant
We have well-equipped manufacturing plant at Surat in Gujarat (India) with a total capacity of 3 TPD. In accordance with our expansion programme, we have acquired new site at Ankleshwar in Gujarat and put up manufacturing plant with an initial target of 3 TPD, which can be enhanced 7 TDP in future. We also manufacture some of the critical dye intermediates essential in the manufacture of food colour, which helps us to maintain quality consistency in our end products.


Quality Assurance
Our Food Colour bear ISI MARKS Certification by Bureau of Indian Standards company has ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATION, conferred upon it by Bureau Vertias Quality International (BVQI). We also have the Halal Certificate for our products. Our modern quality control laboratory tests the raw materials, the food colour in production at intermediate steps and the finished food colour.
